About

Individualized Non-Diet Nutrition Therapy

I am a Boston, MA-based registered dietitian. In addition to Massachusetts, I am licensed to practice in New York, Maine, and Florida and can work with clients in Arizona, California, Colorado, Michigan, and Virginia as well! I have more than 10 years of experience working in the eating disorder field. I began my private practice, Britt Nutrition, in late 2019. Prior to that I was the dietitian at Monte Nido Laurel Hill, a residential program for adults with eating disorders, from 2016 through 2020. I also have significant experience at PHP and IOP levels of care with both Monte Nido in Boston and Center for Discovery in Connecticut. My clients frequently describe me as compassionate, yet firm and practical, with a good dose of humor mixed in. I strive to help clients heal their relationship with food, exercise, and body image through a non-weight focussed and intuitive eating-based approach. I work with clients to identify THEIR goals, not mine, and then help them develop skills and tools to achieve those goals. I believe that full recovery is possible. Nutrition was a career change for me. I graduated from Hunter College in New York City with a Masters degree in Nutrition after spending five years in the investment banking industry. I spent most of my life thinking that I could never be happy living anywhere other than New York but I moved to Boston in 2016 and am now proud to call myself a New Englander. I love finding new beaches, eating all the seafood, Vermont (cheese and skiing is the perfect combination in my opinion), and exploring Acadia National Park in Maine. I enjoy trying new recipes (Smitten Kitchen, Caroline Chambers, and NYT Cooking are favorites) and am hoping to start a virtual cooking club in 2026 (@therecoverycookingclub on Instagram). I am passionate about helping stray cats and have helped get several of them (six and counting!) off the streets in my town and into loving homes.
